Background :

Bangladesh is an over populated developing country. Health is one of the major basic needs for the people. Healthy people are the active people and can contribute to the economic development of the country directly and indirectly. Till now skilled health personnel are not adequate comparison with the total population. We cannot ensure the primary health care Service to the rural area properly, Our Secondary and tertiary health services are also not up to the mark due to deficiency of skilled health professional like Doctor, Nurses, Medical assistant, Medical technologist, Paramedics and other support staff. At present the government recognized the need of these kinds of skilled medical manpower, so the government took the decision for establishment of Medical institutes in central and peripheral area of Bangladesh. TMSS is a non-government social developmental organization working in the rural area for up-liftmen of socio economic condition of poor people especially the women. TMSS implements Comprehensive Development Projects. Health Education and Micro-credit (HEM) is the model package program of TMSS. TMSS is providing Primary and Secondary health care programs. As a result TMSS established TMSS Medical Institute of Research & Technology (TMIRT) on 2005. Which is approved by People’s Republic of Bangladesh and recognized by Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB).

Vission:

To create qualified & skilled Diploma health technologist and others health Professionals- for the fulfillment of the demand of our country people.

Mission :

1. To assist in the promotion of good health and socio-economic life of all sections of the society.
2. To provide health services to the rural poor through the provision of high quality services, to build a healthy nation through health protection and diagnosis/prevention and to contribute to overall development of the country.
