TMSS Community Paramedic Institute
(TCPI)

Overview :

TMSS established the TMSS Community Paramedic Institute (TCPI) in 2010 with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. It is situated at Thengamara, Rangpur Road, Bogura. It is 8 km away to the north of Bogura town along the Bogura-Rangpur highway. There is a four-story separate building for the institute and a big playground with necessary facilities in a good environment. The institute is affiliated with the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC). BNMC also conducts a final examination of community paramedic certificates given by BNMC to successful students. The government of Bangladesh has developed several 11 (Eleven) modules for the course. Swiss Contact (an international Zurich-based NGO) supports the course through the TARSAN project by capacity building, providing scholarships to poor & meritorious students, and supplying teaching & practitioner materials.

1. Our mission is to be a centre of excellence for producing highest quality community paramedics for the sake of improving health of community people.
2. To respond to gradual demand of skilled and efficient Health Assistant in the country.
3. To develop health status of the people.
