Course Information

The name of the course is ‘Community Paramedics Course. The duration of this course is two years. The training course will be evaluated by the rules and regulations provided by the National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT) and State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh. It could be changed or re-arranged (if necessary) after three years through evaluating by National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT). And according to this prescribed the specific course will be conducted by TMSS Community Paramedic Institute (TCPI) as well. Moreover, extra module could be introduced with ongoing approved curriculum and it must be documented properly. However, the certificate of the Paramedic Course will be provided by the Bangladesh Nursing Council (BNC) through National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT).

Student Information
There are 111 students in TMSS Community Paramedic Institute (TCPI) according to govt. approval 60 seats per session. This is the first session 2010-2011. According to govt. instruction there are 70% female students and 30% male students in this institute. The name of the course is Community Paramedic Course and duration of the course is only two years.

Evaluation system
National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT) will evaluate theoretical and practical side of the academic course properly weather it is conducted in a proper way or not. There should be two year (1st year, 2nd year) final examinations at the end of each year of the paramedic course and for this monitoring and evaluation would be conducted by the National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT). For this the institute has to be paid fixed fee to NIPORT.
