Code of Conduct of TMSS Health Sector (THS)

The code of conduct is applicable for all types of human resources engaged with TMSS Health Sector (THS). The code of conduct is divided into two sections like General Code of Conducts and Special Code of Conducts. If one violates General Code of Conducts, he will not get punishment from the organization but it will impact on his/her APR and personal evaluation and assessment. On the contrary, if one violates Special Code of Conducts, he/she must get punishment from the organization according to the prescribed rules and regulations.

General Code of Conduct:

  • All staffs should carry their identity cards while inside the office and Hospital complex.
  • All staffs should preserve and maintain their own table with necessary papers according to the rules of file management.
  • All staffs should refrain from those activities which create obstacles of others’ jobs, such as speaking loudly, enjoy song with loud sound, making noise, laugh with high sound, speak on heating on the table, etc.
  • Mobile phone should be kept either stopped or silent mode during meeting, seminar, workshop, conference, brainstorming, etc..
  • Smoking is strictly forbidden in the office room of colleges/institutes or in other offices of THS.
  • Environment should be kept clean and all staffs should use dustbin for keeping unused/dirty things.
  • Sputum should be dropped into basin of the birth room.
  • No money should be exchanged into office for business or personal purposes.
  • Personal affairs should be avoided during office hours.
  • Personal guests should be entertained into guest room.
  • Certain distant should be followed during telephonic discussion.
  • Political activities are strictly avoided during office hours.
  • All staffs should be followed dress code.
  • All should be sincere to stop light, fan, computer, UPS and other electrical goods during leaving office.
  • White Broad should be net and cleaned after the completion of seminar, conference, etc.
  • Supervising authority and fellow staffs must be informed and movement registrar must be filled up for going out of office.
  • All staffs should be respectable on co-staffs’ opinion and should admit that different opinion does not mean wrong idea.
  • Suggestions of higher authorities should be followed with respect and at the same time the higher authority should show respect on lower staffs’ opinion.
  • Personal attract must be avoided during any kind of criticism.
  • All staffs should be informed for going into their rooms or desks through telephonic message or knocking at the door or sending message.
  • Gender discrimination should be avoided during conversation or any other situation.
  • No rough talk is accepted in the office.
  • Internet and official computer should not be used for personal purposes during office hours.
  • One staffs must not misbehave with other staffs or employees of the office and such misbehavior is an act of indiscipline and liable for punishment according to organizational rules.

Special Code of Conducts:

  • To obey the reasonable order of the superior employee.
  • To maintain descent behavior with the flexible hour and to remain in the office during office hour.
  • To take permission of leave from the appropriate authority.
  • Any kind of goods should not be taken from one’s desk without informing the respective officer and such kind of act would be considered as stealing.
  • Personal goods of others like money, mobile phone, money bag, parse, etc. should not be taken without informing and such kind of act would be regarded as stealing.
  • Official goods should not be used for personal purposes.
  • One should not damage official documents from computer due to revenge or personal attract.
  • Official computer should not be used without informing respective personnel.
  • One should not submit complain against someone without appropriate reasons.
  • All staffs should refrain from those acts which damage organization’s reputation/image and at the same time they should give suggestion from refrain such kind of acts.
  • Staffs should not try to gain personal profit by using organization’s name.
  • Loss of moral and spiritual values or addiction to alcohol and narcotic drugs by the staffs are not allowed during office hours and such kind of act is punishable.
  • Sexual intercourse and such types of acts are strictly prohibited.
  • All types of demonstrations, processions, shouting in the office and office premises are prohibited and the staffs involved in such kind of act are liable to be discharged from the organization.
  • To visit or enjoy pornography websites or any harmful websites are strictly prohibited.
  • Outside persons should not be called or invited in the office during office hours.
  • Personal useful electronic goods like pen drive, laptop, etc. should not be carried in the office without prior approval of the respective authority.
  • Official goods should not be taken outside of the office for personal use without prior approval of the respective authority.
